Broker Newsletter - November 2020

Industry news you can use, along with new products or solutions available through Leitz Insurance Agency and our partners.

We've put together a "Newsletter" which includes industry insight, trends, and topics that are being discussed. In each Newsletter, we will highlight the top articles we found to be relevant and helpful.

Planning 2021 Benefits

Coverage decisions should be made soon, despite pandemic unknowns. As employers await word on health plan costs for next year, which insurers usually provide in November, they must decide how to allocate benefits budgets, choose which benefits programs to offer, and figure out how to communicate changes to employees. Here is an SHRM article to give you some insights as to this activity.

Expanding Wellness

More and more companies are expanding their definition of wellness to include emotional and financial wellness, in addition to the traditional pillar of physical wellness. By broadening the definition of wellness, employers are demonstrating their commitment to improving their employees’ lives.

The same rings true for brokers. Leitz Insurance Agency is committed to providing unparalleled insurance concierge services to our agents and business owners. With the global economy at a struggle, the benefits industry continues to roll out new products and features to support the rising needs of the marketplace.

What's New in Life Insurance?

HELP GIVE YOURSELF PEACE OF MIND

Only 44 percent of American households have individual life insurance — that’s the lowest number in half-a-century. The good news is that half of all households realize they need more.

Crystal is doing her best to save for retirement. Her universal life insurance policy builds cash value so she can borrow against it in the future and protect her savings if an unexpected expense arises. In her later years, her built-up cash value will continue to pay her cost of insurance, maintaining her policy even after she retires.

Leitz Insurance Agency proudly provides TransElite® a universal life insurance, underwritten by Transamerica Life Insurance Company that helps provide financial protection at a competitive cost. Life insurance should fit you, and we don’t limit you with a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you’re more interested in ensuring your ability to keep a death benefit from now until you’re 100, just want to add to your term life policy, or want to build cash value for your heirs, our universal life insurance policy works for just the right segment of the population: you.

Additionally, if you have any key broker relationships that you feel would benefit from receiving the newsletter please let me know and I will be sure to add them to the list.

Warmly,

Ariel Leitz, President/Owner of Leitz Insurance Agency

Ariel Leitz, owner and a benefits advisor/coordinator at the executive managerial level since 2016, recognized a gap in the voluntary benefits industry. What she has created is a new type of agency - a specific broker’s broker business model.

The Leitz approach offers full benefit solutions utilizing a concierge process with business owners, including other brokers and insurance agents. Leitz breathed life into Leitz Insurance Agency’s online presence in 2019 and is poised to rapidly become the top agency in her niche. While healthcare and retirement savings remain a staple of benefit packages, voluntary benefits are growing increasingly more important to both employers and employees.

This year, in 2020, HR professionals have faced unparalleled challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic. There is no denying that voluntary benefits selection is a complex process requiring careful consideration. Leitz is on the front line along with her team of professionals and all are ready to provide guidance and support with timely education, admin tools, and relevant communication.
